What started off as a simple sharing of ethically sourced ancestral tools has transformed into a much bigger mission. This mission has many layers, including both the educational transmission of these ancestral tools in a way that honors tradition and protects the original intended use of these practices, as well as keeping with our model of true sacred reciprocity that honors, amplifies and supports the lineage carriers of these plant allies. This means that as we evolve you will see an expanding product line as well as more integrative and educational offerings and opportunities.

We will continue to offer all of the same botanicals and will be adding even more exciting new products in the coming months as well.

We are retiring our jewelry, textiles, and instruments beginning in January of 2024. As we grow, our ceremonial wear and jewelry is no longer in alignment with our brand’s core focus and reason for being, which is to preserve indigenous plant medicine and to integrate ancestral botanicals into the modern world. For this reason, we have decided to retire some of our very much loved and cherished one-of-a-kind artisanal sacreds from the shop. We are in the process of procuring various avenues for our indigenous artisans to continue to sell their goods at ethical beyond-fair-trade prices and will share more info in the coming months about where you can find and continue to support our artisans.

For orders within 2 weeks of being received we are happy to offer a store credit or refund. For orders outside of the 2 week period we gladly offer store credit.*

Please note that the customer is responsible for shipping costs for all returns or exchanges, unless an error was made on our part.

*We cannot accept returns on used Kuripes, Tepis, or opened Tinctures.

We ask that you please allow up to 2 full working days for your order to be processed for shipping.

We are a small team that works devotedly to get you your tools, so please be patient as delays can occur and should be anticipated during sales, holidays, and big promotions.

Once your order has shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking information. Shipping generally takes 5-8 business days for domestic orders and up to 2 weeks for international orders. If for any reason you do not receive a shipping confirmation email please reach out to us at customerservice@fourvisions.com

We highly recommend watching your tracking updates to ensure we can work together right away to find a resolution in the event a delay or issue occurs with your package while in transit. Unfortunately, once we send your package out any delays or delivery issues are a result of the carrier.

Things to note:

Orders containing Hape will be shipped with UPS unless requested otherwise.

Orders containing temperature sensitive items will be shipped with USPS priority mail.

Yes! We ship via USPS/UPS International which includes global tracking and the service usually takes 14-21 days. Please know that shipments outside the United States may be subject to import charges, which are the responsibility of the purchaser. Four Visions ships your package DDU, “duties and taxes unpaid”, and does not collect the VAT, duties and/or taxes and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. If your order does require these additional charges, they must be paid by you, the customer, in order for your package to clear customs. Each country has their own unique guidelines & regulations and it is up to the customer to investigate and take the required follow-up measurements to contact their local postal service and follow the necessary steps in order for their package to be released, should there be a hold placed on the shipment.

We do not currently allow for PO Box addresses to be input at checkout due to UPS not being able to deliver to PO Boxes. With UPS being our main shipping provider this helps prevent returned orders and lost packages.

Sananga is fresh plant matter with no preservative. It needs to be refrigerated in order to maintain maximum freshness.

That being said, keep in mind that this is a product used in the Amazon often without any refrigeration. In general, sananga can keep up to 2 weeks out of the fridge, which is why there is no issue with shipping it to you, as long as it goes in your refrigerator upon arrival.

If you ever suspect the sananga has been compromised it is best to smell it, and if there is no strong sour odor, as well as no floaties such as mold or fungi in it, you can put it in the refrigerator and use it. It is normal to have some sediment at the bottom of the bottle; this is simply the separation of the bark and liquid; make sure to shake well before use. If you ever open your bottle and it smells funky, do not use it. If there is ever anything unknown floating around in your bottle, do not use it.

This is a wonderful question! Working with hapé is an intuitive process, helping and supporting us to find empowerment through nature. We recommend reviewing our guide on working with Hapé where we share more information about each variety we carry and their strength. You will also find our instructional videos there which is highly recommend for first time users.

Please keep in mind that Hapé can bring physical reactions. Sweats, Nausea, Dizziness, or Purging are all common symptoms. This is how the medicine works to move energy through the body and cleanse, align, and organize. It is important to create spaciousness and ceremonial context to partake in this ritual. Our hapé is to be used for educational purposes only. The use and application of all our products is solely at the customer’s responsibility.

We are honored to be the leader in the ethical sourcing of hapé. Traditional peoples have used this medicine for millennia to connect more deeply to Nature. With great care, we are working directly with indigenous tribes to integrate this ancient plant wisdom into a modern spiritual practice.

Our goal is to educate you and provide the necessary resources from which to cultivate a sacred relationship with hapé and with tobacco. Tobacco is an extremely powerful plant and these artisanal jungle tobaccos do still have nicotine in them, which can become addictive. Hapé should always be worked with in a ceremonial setting, with prayer and intention. Hapé should not be used habitually, socially, or recreationally. Thank you for respecting the plants and this ancient tradition.

Please keep in mind that the Western mind has addictive tendencies. In the Hapé tribes it's very common for them to diet from the Hapé to keep a balance & harmony with the medicine.

If you ever find yourself in a state of dependency with these medicines, we recommendt that you do a diet or make a "spiritual payment", for at least 14 days, with the mindset of coming back into balance with the Hapé. We recommend you offer your Hape back to the Earth or place it on your altar and pray to it daily, but do not work with it. During these 14 days we recommend working with bitter baths that contain tobacco, conneting with the spirit of Tobacco and asking for support to come back into balance and harmnonious relationship. After doing the 14 day diet, continue with 14 days of sweet baths. At this point if you wish to resume working with hapé, you can do so, and you will notice that your experience will be different. All alcohol used in our botanical tinctures is gluten free. The majority are made with cane alcohol. However, we are not an official gluten free facility nor can we promise that the alcohols we do use were made in a facility that is completely free of gluten, so please take necessary precautions if you have a serious gluten allergy.

All of our tinctures include their specific recommended usage on the bottle. They can be taken by mouth or diluted in a glass of water to drink, whichever you prefer. Tinctures are herbs extracted in alcohol so please keep in mind that they can be strong in flavor.
