The Gift of Balance, Heart Chakra Meditation

The Heart (Anahata) Chakra is one of the most significant chakras in the chakra system. Located at the heart, the Anahata Chakra is said to be the center of our spiritual being, associated with love and connection. When this chakra is open and balanced, we embody our higher selves through a deep sense of compassion, empathy, and understanding for ourselves and others.

Please join Nicole, Four Visions’ COO, for this loving Heart Chakra Meditation.

Meet Nana Marina Cruz

Nana Marina is an Ajq'ij, a Spiritual Guide of the Maya Tz’utujil lineage in Guatemala. She is a carrier of ancient Mayan wisdom, serving as a leader of multiple ceremonial medicines and modalities, specializing in the healing magic of Cacao, Patxte, and Tobacco through traditional Mayan fire, cacao, and temazcal ceremonies.

Nana is also a teacher of native Mayan languages, the Mayan Calendar, and the Sacred Mayan Cosmovision. She recently completed her Masters in Sociolinguistics with a focus on Mayan languages and cacao, and runs a ceremonial cacao company, Ixmucane Cacao, with her family and community. She is a founding member of the Great Council of Indigenous Authorities in Guatemala, and also a founder of The Association of Walkers for Peace Jun Imox, a non-profit association of indigenous Mayan community leaders in Guatemala, who offer their ancestral wisdom to a global community in efforts to promote individual healing and universal harmony.

Nana Marina is devoted to the healing and restoration of humanity, and as such, travels the world and serves her local community in sharing these beautiful gifts of purification rituals with the intent of promoting peace across the globe. She continues to keep the fire of her father’s legacy alive, by doing everything with love. “Pase lo que pase, siempre con amor.”

The Association of Walkers for Peace, Jun Imox

Nana has spearheaded the non-profit, The Association of Walkers for Peace, Jun Imox. The organization is comprised of spiritual guides of Tz'utujil, K'iche and Kaqchikel Mayan descent; midwives, healers, and community leaders from Guatemala. The purpose of the Association is to acquire ancestral lands, preserve and promote their indigenous wisdom, and provide mental, physical, and spiritual healing to those in need - in an effort to contribute harmony to the heart of humanity.

This initiative is in its seedling stages, and we believe wholeheartedly in the prayer of these incredible visionaries. Four Visions is thrilled to highlight and bring momentum to their organization this month.

The Association has acquired the land which will serve as a home for this vision. The next phase is to build the organizational headquarters, a center for healing and ancestral learning for the Mayan communities. They will offer grounding therapies to local community members and international visitors including, but not limited to:

  • therapeutic massages
  • abdominal massages
  • sacred fire ceremonies
  • cacao ceremonies
  • temazcals
  • tobacco offerings
  • readings with tz'ite, astrology of the nawals of the Mayan calendar

The center will also serve as a gathering place for conferences and meetings to develop much-needed programs in the following areas:

  • Health programs for local Mayan community members using their traditional healing practices;
  • Food sovereignty, sustainability, and reforestation through community projects;
    and we look forward to sharing more about the development of this project, and offering opportunities for our community to be involved in allyship with this extraordinary mission.

Many Blessings, The Four Visions’ Team!
