An important part of the diet is daily prayer and meditation. This can be as little as 20 minutes a day, or whatever your schedule allows. We diet to open our sensitivity and receptivity to the spiritual world. During your daily communions with Creator, whether it be in silent seated meditation, or in ritual and prayer, utilize this time as a daily check-in, to evaluate how your diet is going, reflect on insights or teachings that are coming to you through the process, and reconnect with the energy of Creation. This diet is about spiritual nutrition, we are nourishing our beings to be able to have a stronger connection with Life, Nature, and ourselves. Call forth the spirits of Nature to reinvigorate your life with freshness and strength to be able to continue forward on this path.
At the beginning of your dieta, Make Your Commitments and Set Your Intentions for this spiritual study. What are you looking to receive from this connection with Bobinsana? What would you like to study or work on during this period?
It is recommended to create a container for these 30 days and abstain from distractions such as technology or certain foods such as processed sugar and red meat, so that you can remain sensitive and open to the information that the plants have to give you. Over the 30 days, you will work with the plant baths, Bobinsana Tincture, Bobinsana Hapé, and a committed daily prayer and meditation practice to do a spiritual study with intention and prayer.
The Bobinsana Tincture has been prepared for you with special prayers to support you in accessing the messages of this sacred plant. Bobinsana is a deep catalyst for healing grief and removing the layers of protection that surround the heart. Through the dieta our dream time and connection with our guides become much more prominent. We recommend 20 drops of Bobinsana Tincture, twice a day, upon rising and before you go to sleep. Before you take the tincture, open the bottle, blow softly into the tincture, and through your breath, information is transmitted to the spirit of Bobinsana that she can receive and utilize to bring you the cosmic information that you will go deciphering throughout the diet.
If you have sage or copal, it’s also good to smudge your home to be able to clean your space throughout your diet. Ask the spirits of Nature to accompany you and bring the guardians to support this work in the invisible world. Smudge your altar, smudge the other plant allies you will be working with, and smudge your body, daily throughout the diet.
The Bobinsana Hapé should be worked with at either 10am or 3pm, or both times, throughout the diet. The Bobinsana Hapé works with you to stay connected to the prayers of the diet throughout the day. This is why it is best to stagger the use of the tincture and the hapé. Before applying yourself, create ceremonial space, return to your prayers and intentions for the study, and dialogue with the spirits of Tobacco and Bobinsana that they may bring you the information that your spirit is needing for your evolution and growth. Sit in meditation after applying and take note of any guidance, insights, or counsel you receive from these encounters.
Plant Baths: Begin with 12 days of bitter plant baths. To make the baths, all you need to do is bring to boil a pot of water and pour in the herbs, lowering it to a simmer, covered for about an hour. Take the pot off the flame and let it cool, then strain the bath. To apply, use one cup of bath every time you shower, you can use it multiple times in one day. Towel dry and then pour the plant bath all over the body and let it air dry, allowing the plants to seep into your pores. Do this with prayer and intention, calling forth the power of the plant technology to heal and help you to release pain, trauma and bitterness, and to prepare you for this diet. After 12 days, switch to sweet plants, following the same protocol to prepare. You will do approximately 18 days of sweet plants, calling in the sweetness and flourishment for your bath to nourish the seeds and intentions set in this diet.
