Shipping & Orders
Yes. We offer international shipping with global tracking.
International orders typically arrive within 14–21 days, depending on destination and customs processing.
Please note that international shipments are sent DDU (duties and taxes unpaid). Any customs duties, VAT, or import taxes assessed by your country are the responsibility of the recipient. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs clearance procedures that are beyond our control.
Each country has unique import regulations, and we recommend reviewing your local customs guidelines prior to ordering. If an international package is undeliverable or returned, the recipient is responsible for any associated return fees.

Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days (Monday–Friday) before shipping.
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Domestic shipping generally takes 5–8 business days, while international shipping may take up to 2 weeks or longer, depending on destination and customs processing.
Because we are a small team, delays may occur during holidays, promotions, or high-volume periods. Once a package is in transit, delivery timing is determined by the carrier.
Yes. We are located in Nevada City, California, and local pickup can be arranged. Please contact customerservice@fourvisions.com prior to ordering so we can coordinate details.
Appointments can also be made to come and shop at our warehouse if you’d prefer to stop by and see the magic in action.
If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been processed or shipped, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.
Once your order has shipped, tracking information is sent via email. We recommend monitoring tracking updates regularly.
If your package has not shown any tracking updates for more than 72 hours, please contact us so we can initiate an investigation with the carrier. While transit delays are outside of our control, we are happy to assist in resolving issues whenever possible.
If your package appears delayed or has not updated for over 72 hours, please let us know so we can file an investigation with the carrier.
If a package is confirmed as lost and cannot be recovered, we will work with you to have a replacement shipped once the carrier investigation is complete.
At this time, we do not offer the option to include gift notes with orders.
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on your location, order size, and package weight. This ensures you are charged the most accurate rate available for your specific order.
If your order has not yet shipped, we’re happy to update the shipping address. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can make the change before fulfillment.
If your order has already shipped, address changes must be requested directly with the carrier using the tracking number provided in your shipping confirmation email.
We do not currently offer expedited shipping options at checkout. However, if you need an order by a specific date or require urgent shipping, please contact us before placing your order at customerservice@fourvisions.com, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
We ship worldwide with a few current exceptions due to import restrictions and delivery reliability. At this time, we do not ship to:
- Costa Rica
- Bali
- Mexico
- Australia*
*We are actively working to restore shipping service to Australia.
Some countries have strict import regulations, complex customs requirements, or inconsistent delivery infrastructure. Because of this, we are currently unable to ship to Costa Rica, Bali, Mexico, or Australia.
We continually review international shipping options and update availability as conditions improve.
Customs duties, taxes, and import fees vary by country and are the responsibility of the recipient.

By placing an international order with Four Visions, you agree to the following:
- Shipping costs & timing: Shipping fees are calculated at checkout. Delivery times are estimates and do not include order processing time.
- Duties & taxes: All import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient. Unpaid fees may result in packages being abandoned and ineligible for refund.
- Customs clearance: Customs regulations vary by country. If a package is held, it is the recipient’s responsibility to contact their local customs office or postal service.
- Shipping restrictions: Certain products may be restricted in specific countries. Orders may be canceled if items cannot be legally imported.
- Returns: International customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping fees, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

Discounts & Payments
Discount codes cannot be combined with other promotions or applied to already discounted items, sampler packs, or subscription orders.
If a sitewide sale or automatic discount is active at checkout, it will override other discount codes—even if the code would normally offer a smaller discount.

Returns & Refunds
For orders returned within 14 days of delivery, we are happy to offer a refund or store credit. After 14 days, we gladly offer store credit for up to 60 days.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless an error was made on our part.
We cannot accept returns on used or opened products, including opened consumables or used applicators.
International customers are responsible for return shipping costs to the United States. Customs duties, taxes, and original shipping fees are non-refundable.
If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal, or failure to clear customs, refunds will be issued minus shipping costs and any applicable return fees.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact customerservice@fourvisions.com as soon as possible with photos of the item and packaging so we can assist you.
We cannot accept returns on used Kuripes or Tepis or on any opened consumable products, including tinctures or botanical preparations.

Product Use & Education
Hapé is a traditional Amazonian botanical snuff that has been used for generations by Indigenous tribes in ceremonial and spiritual contexts to support grounding, clarity, and connection.
It is typically administered using a kuripe (self-applicator) or tepi (administered by another), and is always approached with prayer, intention, and respect. Beginners are encouraged to start with a very small amount and to create a quiet, intentional setting.
All hapé is provided for educational purposes only, and individuals are responsible for their own relationship with these traditional medicines.
Choosing hapé is an intuitive process. Each blend carries its own traditional lineage, strength, and energetic quality.
We recommend reviewing our educational guides and instructional videos, which share information about each variety we carry and how to work with hapé respectfully—especially for first-time users.
Traditional hapé blends do contain jungle tobaccos, which naturally include nicotine.
Hapé is not intended for habitual, recreational, or social use. It is traditionally worked with ceremonially and approached with intention and respect. Indigenous cultures commonly practice periods of abstention to maintain balance with the medicine.
If you ever feel a sense of dependency, we recommend taking time away from working with hapé and focusing on restoring balance before resuming.

We recommend beginning with a very small amount, roughly the size of a dime or less. Starting small allows you to build awareness of how your body and system respond.

There is no universally “correct” time to work with hapé. Some people choose mornings for clarity, while others work with it later in the day for grounding.
We encourage trusting your intuition and always approaching hapé with prayer and intention rather than routine or habit.
Hapé is a tobacco snuff and is legal to travel with within the United States. When traveling internationally, regulations vary by country. We recommend reviewing your destination’s customs requirements before traveling.
Hapé does not expire, but it can lose potency over time. For long-term storage, we recommend keeping it in an airtight container and storing it in the freezer to maintain freshness.
Yes. Sananga is a fresh plant preparation with no preservatives. While it undergoes a heat pasteurization process for transport, it should be refrigerated upon receipt.
Properly stored, sananga has an approximate 6-month shelf life. If it develops a strong sour odor or visible mold, it should not be used.
Yes. A burning sensation is a normal part of the traditional sananga experience and typically subsides within minutes.
Our botanical tinctures have a shelf life of up to two years or longer when stored properly.
Store your botanicals in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep tinctures tightly sealed and herbs in airtight containers to preserve freshness and potency. Proper storage helps maintain the integrity and shelf life of your plant medicines.
The alcohol used in our tinctures is gluten-free; however, we are not a certified gluten-free facility. If you have a severe gluten allergy, please take appropriate precautions.
Each tincture includes recommended usage instructions on the bottle. Tinctures may be taken directly or diluted in water.
Our tinctures are formulated to not contraindicate one another; however, we always recommend consulting your healthcare provider before beginning any new herbal products.
- Dried herbs, teas, and steams: 1–3 years
- Ceremonial cacao: 1–2 years when stored in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight
Yes. All of our ceremonial-grade cacao is third-party tested for heavy metals, including lead and cadmium, to ensure safety and purity.
Our most recent testing showed:
- Lead: Not detected
- Cadmium: 0.12 ppm, well below the legal safety threshold of 0.9 ppm
These results are consistent across our cacao sourced from Belize, Tanzania, Guatemala, Mexico, and Ecuador.
We are deeply committed to providing clean, high-quality cacao that you can enjoy with confidence. Every batch is carefully sourced and tested to meet strict safety standards while preserving the integrity and traditional preparation of the plant.
Yes. While many of our botanicals can be prepared as teas or taken internally as directed, a small number of herbs we carry are for external use only and should not be ingested.
These plants are traditionally used in plant baths, topical preparations, or external medicine making, such as salves, creams, lotions, or sprays.
Herbs intended for external use only include:
- Anima Zarrandango
- Borrachero
- Chondur
- Destrancadera
- Yagé leaves
We always recommend following traditional usage guidelines and product instructions carefully. If you’re ever unsure how to work with a specific plant, our team is happy to help guide you.
Plant baths are traditionally prepared as an herbal infusion, not by placing loose herbs directly into your bathtub.
To prepare a plant bath:
- Add the herbs to a large pot of water
- Gently simmer for 30–45 minutes to create a strong herbal infusion
- Strain the liquid
- Pour the prepared bath slowly over your body
Rather than soaking in a bath, plant baths are traditionally poured over the body for several consecutive days, often in prayer, reflection, or with clear intention. This method honors the ancestral “plant bath technology” used throughout Amazonian and Indigenous traditions for energetic, emotional, and spiritual cleansing.
