The borrachero offers spiritual and energetic protection in the dream space, warding off unwanted energies and invoking your spiritual guardians in the non-waking world. It is worked with as a bath, smudging agent, or as a protection totem placed under your pillow. Work with borrachero in conjunction with ONE of the other three plant allies at a time. Bobinsana, Ambi Sacha & Blue Lotus are all incredibly potent dreamweavers and are best studied individually. After you form a relationship with each one of these plant teachers, by doing a consistent study of at least 7 days, then you can vary and utilize them intermittently as your intuition calls.

Track your progress: Keep a journal each day of how you are feeling physically, emotionally, spiritually. Keep track of your dreams. When we write down our dreams, we are also co-creating with the dream architects so they know we are paying attention. And, when we write down our experiences in this way we are also entering into a deeper study with the plants.

During dream studies, it is important to take time without working with the plant allies to recalibrate and integrate from your experiences. Take notice of how your thoughts and emotions are different. Observe what has changed in both your internal and external reality. Then resume as you feel called.

Bobinsana Leaves: Add a handful of leaves to 2 cups of hot water and boil for 15 minutes. Strain and enjoy as a tea on an empty stomach before meditation or as a nighttime ritual before sleep. You can also use this same infusion to add to a plant bath or healing lotion for topical use.

Blue Lotus: Steep 1 tbsp of Blue Lotus petals in a cup of hot water. Allow to steep for 5-7 minutes. Strain and enjoy. Blue lotus is incredibly versatile and you can add spices, cacao powder, milk, and sweetener as desired for an incredibly delicious healing tonic. Blue lotus flower petals can also be smoked, and are a wonderful compliment to your herbal smoke blends. You can also infuse the petals in your favorite carrier oil for a delicious and relaxing body/massage oil.

Ambi Sacha Tincture: For spiritual study and dream journeying, start with 6 drops before bed. You can increase to 10 drops per night as you feel the call. For immunity support, integration, & grounding, take 6 drops each morning and increase to 10 drops over time as you feel called. A minimum of 30 days of continued use is suggested. You can use both at night and in the morning if you feel called.

Borrachero Leaves: Ideal for use in plant baths, lotions, and as part of spiritual payments/offerings. Boil the leaves in water, strain, and use as a plant bath or add to healing lotions. For dream space protection, place a handful of leaves in a mesh bag and put under your pillow or bed. Can also be used as a smudging agent for deep energetic purification of spaces. Not suitable for internal consumption.
