Energetically, because we often store stress, anxiety, and trauma in the solar plexus, this plant ally works to cleanse, align, and organize the chakra of willpower, discipline, and inner strength.

Muira Puama:
Stamina ~ Libido ~ Nervous System
Muira Puama is a bush that grows in the Amazon jungles. The root and bark are both medicinal. Muira Puama is known to help increase energy levels and stamina, making it a wonderful plant ally to compliment exercise routines and physical bodily vitality, as well as sexual vitality. It is also used as a nervous system tonic, and can alleviate nerve and muscle pain, as well as reduce stress.

Bobinsana: Add a handful of leaves to 2 cups of hot water and boil for 15 minutes. Strain and enjoy as a tea on an empty stomach before meditation or as a nighttime ritual before sleep.

Guarumo: Pour 8 oz of boiling water over a handful of leaves. Let steep for 5 minutes before enjoying.

Muira Puama: Bring water to a boil, add 1-2 tsp bark per serving, and let simmer for 20 minutes. Strain and enjoy.

Ishpingo: Bring water to a boil, add 1-2 tsp bark per serving, and let boil for 20 minutes. Let cool & strain. Drink tepid up to three times per day, one hour before or after eating.
